Walking away from the sport as a player did not top Tony Romo's list three months ago. But as time wore on and CBS and other networks pursued him with an intensity NFL teams didn't, it became his best choice.

Nearly 14 years after joining the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Illinois, Romo leaves to replace Phil Simms as the lead NFL game analyst for CBS Sports. He departs as the most prolific quarterback in the franchise's rich history, yet one who was unable to lead his team past the second round of the playoffs.

The real question is wether he stays retired, or if he gets the competitive itch back that drove him for the last decade to pursue a championship? That same itch that drove Brett Favre back to the game, could bite Tony Romo, our friends Bragan and Panda from the Batting Practice Podcast debate!

Bragan and Panda (aka Benjamin), enjoy creating entertainment through the world of sound. Bragan specializes in the world of stats and figures, while rooting for his hometown Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, and his beloved Celtics. When it comes to college, you better not say anything bad about his Fighting Irish or Mizzou Tigers. Panda brings his voice, which has been claimed by many to be silky smooth. Panda hails from up north, where he roots for the Cleveland Cavs, Indians, and Browns. He has also picked up the odd habit of enjoying Michigan Football and UNC Basketball, which is a deplorable offense when you are from Ohio. Listen in each episode as Bragan and Panda cover the hot topics from a variety of sports, backgrounds, and takes. They cover what you want to hear!
